Josée Saint-Marseille, acting Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Innovation, and Chief Financial Officer
Josée Saint-Marseille was recently appointed Acting Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Innovation and Chief Financial Officer.
Josée has worked at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) for a number of years. She has extensive experience in change management as well as in human and financial resource management. In , she was appointed Chief Digital Officer and Director-General Cybersecurity and Information Management. In this role, she oversaw the implementation of digital transformation at the CSA based on Canada's Digital Ambition. This involved integrating digital and operational strategies; planning for modern, secure and accessible digital service delivery; focusing on the protection and availability of data, information and systems; and adopting best practices and policies in information management, information technology, cybersecurity, and access to information and privacy. She has also held other management positions in the Information Management and Technology Management Directorate.
In , she co-chaired the CSA's transformation exercise, which aimed to examine key elements of the organization, including personnel, organizational culture, client service, tools and work environment. She has also sat on various committees and boards of directors at the provincial, national and international levels.
Josée began her career as assistant director of commercial and international promotion at the Banque nationale de Paris (BNP Paribas). She holds a bachelor's degree in technical writing and document research from Université de Sherbrooke, a master's degree in information sciences from Université de Montréal, a graduate diploma in administrative science from HEC Montréal, and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal.
