If you could bring anyone to space with you, who would you bring?
Answer 1: I think the answer to that really is I’d bring someone like you, someone who’s interested in science, who’s interested in space, who wants to know what it’s like—and that’s because I want you to continue to be interested in these things.
Answer 2: It would have been my mom. She was one of these super adventurous people. She loved trying new things, and we had always talked about doing some sort of adventure together. I could just see her floating through the corridors of the International Space Station and doing backflips in the air.
Answer 3: I would take my best friend because I know he’s always got my back and that situations will stay under control. He’s someone who’s extremely technically capable and creative, and working together we tend to come to solutions that we wouldn’t come to on our own.
Answer 4: Who I would take into space with me if I could? I would have to say it would have to be two people, because I have two young daughters. I can’t imagine what questions they have that would come to mind if they got the opportunity to float in a weightless environment and see the stars and see the planet passing below them. So for their curiosity and enthusiasm, I’d definitely love to take my girls to outer space. Thank you for your question.
