2016-01-16 - This zinnia flower was the first flower to be grown in the International Space Station's (ISS) Veggie facility. Growing plants on the ISS allows scientists to better understand how they grow in microgravity in order to prepare astronauts for autonomous gardening on future deep-space missions. (Credit: NASA)
