RADARSAT-1 Mosaic of Montréal

To create this 3-D mosaic of a 100-by-50-kilometre area around Montréal, Quebec, two high-resolution orthorectified images were used. The distortions in the relief were corrected using a digital elevation model (DEM) which was then colour-coded. The quality of this mosaic can best be seen through ChromaDepth 3D glasses.
