Astronaut Julie Payette in the Newtsuit

1996-04-02 - Canadian Space Agency astronaut Julie Payette enters the Newtsuit , a hard-shell underwater diving suit, and prepares for a dive of 120 feet to the wreck of HMCS CHAUDIERE off Sechelt Inlet, B.C. Payette performed the ocean dive after completing a one-month Newtsuit pilot trainig course at International Hard Suits Inc. in North Vancouver, B.C.
