Dextre: Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator

Dextre, the special purpose dexterous manipulator (SPDM), will be an essential tool for repairing and maintaining the International Space Station. It is designed to perform precise manipulation tasks on exterior small components and to replace the need for space This sophisticated, dual-armed robot is part of Canada's contribution to the ISS.
