CSA astronaut Jenni Gibbons visits the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory

During a tour of events in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, CSA astronaut Jenni Gibbons visited the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, a research facility of the National Research Council. It currently operates two research telescopes, including the Plaskett Telescope that has been working since 1918. The observatory is a national historic site because of its important role in establishing Canada's international scientific reputation in astronomy.  (Credit: Canadian Space Agency)
