Joshua Kutryk training to go out in space

Joshua is standing on a platform wearing his spacesuit.

CSA astronaut, Joshua Kutryk, is at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) pool at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston training for spacewalks (also called extravehicular activities, or EVAs). EVAs are one of the most difficult and dangerous tasks for astronauts working on the International Space Station.

Here we see Joshua wearing the full spacesuit as he stands on a platform that will lower him into the pool. (Credit: NASA)
