The Artemis II crew prepares for a water landing

Several people perform a space capsule evacuation drill in a huge indoor pool.

Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, his Artemis II crewmates and the U.S. Navy recovery team conducted a survival and evacuation exercise at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston, Texas. They rehearsed the steps required to safely recover the crew after the water landing of the Orion capsule in the Pacific Ocean at the end of the mission. (Credit: NASA/Josh Valcarcel)
