Virtual reality training for astronaut Joshua Kutryk
The Starliner-1 mission crew receives virtual reality training for every step of the mission, from operating the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft to docking with the International Space Station and spacewalks they'll make during their long-duration mission.
The immersive technologies used offers the crew the possibility to train both in a simulator and remotely from anywhere in the world. This allows them to train together even if they are not in the same location.
