2009-09-23 - Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Bob Thirsk holds in his hands the IVIDIL bench, an apparatus that he will install in the Microgravity Science Glovebox (pictured to his right). Once assembled, the bench will be an integral part in SODI (Selectable Optical Diagnostics Instrument) IVIDIL (Influence of Vibration on Diffusion in Liquids), a European Space Agency experiment which features Canadian contribution from Dr. Ziad Saghir of Ryerson University.
