The Best of Both Worlds

2021-06-23 - The Rideau Lakes area of Ontario is an ideal ambassador for the beauty our province offers in all seasons. Using satellite optical and synthetic aperture radar imagery, it's easy to see the many lakes and pleasure craft enjoying this beautiful part of the world.

We challenged 13 organizations from across the country to create stunning satellite images that showcase the natural beauty of a region in each of Canada's territories and provinces — not a typical order for companies used to treating satellite data for scientific or commercial use.
