Quebec City region by the RADARSAT Constellation Mission

2021-06-22 - This image of the Quebec City region is a compilation of images acquired between May and September 2020. The image also includes the Réserve faunique des Laurentides and Charlevoix (to the north), the Chaudière-Appalaches region (to the south), and a few islands in the St. Lawrence Estuary.

Each colour represents different geographical features:

  • Dark colours: smooth surfaces (water, highways)
  • Pale and pink: developed areas or moving water
  • Blue-green: forested areas
  • Purple: farmlands
