Summary

Canada is preparing to develop a utility vehicle for the lunar surface. This webinar will be the first in a series of events to provide industry and academia with information about upcoming activities, schedules, technology, and science relating to the vehicle. Canadian Space Agency (CSA) representatives will present an overview of the project followed by a question-and-answer session.

Detailed description

Organized by the CSA Lunar Exploration Program team, the webinar will be co-chaired by Taryn Baker, Engagement Lead, and CSA astronaut David Saint-Jacques, Deputy Director, supported by key members of the team. The overview seeks to introduce the lunar utility vehicle that was announced in Budget . The intent of the webinar is to get everyone thinking about how they can contribute to this exciting space exploration mission.

Details on upcoming contracts, security requirements, challenges, technologies, science, and engagement activities will be provided. A 30-minute question-and-answer session will follow the CSA presentation.
