Organized by La cabane à culture, the workshop will be led by Caroline-Emmanuelle Morisset, program scientist at the Canadian Space Agency. Before the event, students can tackle the scientific journalist challenge, which will get them to prepare questions for Caroline. During the event, she will answer some of the questions and set the stage for an exciting activity: a rover mission to discover water on the Moon!
Using AhaSlides, the students will vote to make critical decisions throughout the mission. Caroline will provide useful information at every step, which will make this an interactive learning experience.
During this workshop, the students will:
- learn about the responsibilities of a program scientist at the Canadian Space Agency
- do a hands-on learning activity about lunar rovers, including selecting the location and season on the Moon
