Biography

José Miguel Ramirez is an employee of SED Systems. He works as a contractor at the Canadian Space Agency as Lead Satellite Controller at the Mission Control Centre in real-time operations, activities and support performing engineering analyses related to RADARSAT 1, RADARSAT 2, SCISAT, NEOSSat, M3MSat and the RADARSAT Constellation Mission. He has 13 years experience in satellite operations and 20 years in the aerospace field. He received a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City and a diploma of vocational studies in aircraft structural assembling from the École de métiers de l’aérospatiale de Montréal.
