David Saint-Jacques: Hi, I'm David Saint-Jacques. I'm an astronaut with the Canadian Space Agency. I'm training for a mission to the International Space Station in November 2018. I'll be flying one of these Soyuz spacecrafts.

I have always loved inventing. Scratching my mind for something new, because invention is creativity and creativity is fun! So enjoy yourselves, be creative and invent. Think about ways that could help us for the Space Program, ways we could travel to different planets, ways we can explore deeper in the cosmos. Simple things like ways we could eat better in space, communicate more easily with our families and friends. There's no end to what you can think of.

And think about it: those missions to Mars we're dreaming of, they're for people who right now are your age. When you are grown up, maybe your invention will be useful and who knows, maybe you will use it. Good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing your inventions.
