Mobile Communication Satellite (MSAT) M1 and M2

MSAT

MSAT M2 is also known as American Mobile Satellite Corporation 1 (AMSC). MSAT is the most powerful and the most sophisticated satellite ever built for mobile communications. The MSAT satellite was a joint development of Hughes Space and Communications Company and Spar Aerospace Ltd. A joint Hughes/Spar team conducted the integration and test program at the Canadian Space Agency's David Florida Laboratory (DFL) in Ottawa.
